Day 90

Wow what a day. I am so tired it is hard keeping my eyes open to even write this. I did my 30 Day Shred video and a 2 mile power walk. I then went to shovel snow that has been driven on for the last couple of days. Have you ever had to shovel snow that has been driven on? If you have then you know that it sucks. I was so mad because my week doesn't start till next Monday. Oh well. It needed to be done and I considered it more exercise and calorie burning at that.

I have decided to make a change in dinner. I used to try and have dinner ready to go between 5-5:30. I thought if I ate it later it would turn to fat. Well with Chris's schedule or lack of we either eat without him or later. The last couple of nights we have eaten at 6. Which is perfect. It is not to late to effect Rachelle's bedtime, Chris is most of the time home or on the way and I am finding that I am not wanting to snack before bed which is perfect.

Working out in a fasted state has proven to be interesting. I am not feeling like I am giving it my all and I get dizzy. So since I have decided to workout twice a day to try and up my activity level I will one video first thing in the morning and then my other one after my breakfast. My breakfast only contains a banana, yogurt & some oats so I am hoping that this doesn't effect my loss.

Love that last saying - so true!

I have read that training on an empty stomach is good, but then you have to do it soon after waking, within the first hour or so, make sure you do that otherwise you will be dizzy. Remember from 6pm till breakfast is a lot of hours in between.

I enjoyed our chat today, sweet dreams that side.
I'm sitting here worrying about my youngest daughter...not in a good space right now and hate being so far away from her at this time.

It's a fairytale that you shouldn't eat after 6 or 8 pm. It doesn't matter for your weight loss. The only reason why you shouldn't eat is when you feel full and have trouble sleeping, otherwise it doesn't matter.

Do you know I talked about you to the hub? It was this weekend when we had snow (again grrr) and I shoveled our driveway. We talked about that no one in the neighbourhood does that and then I told him your story with your neighbours about the shovel "duty" :)

That sucks that you had to shovel snow. I would be SO mad. But you're right... it's really great exercise! I mean, the last week you had to shovel snow you lost 4 pounds!

I read an article the other day that said you should eat before and after a workout, but just really small stuff so your blood sugar doesn't go crazy. So breakfast sounds perfect! You're totally right, if you end up dizzy halfway through your workout, you're not going to do as well (or burn nearly as many calories).

I love that quote!
