I really wanted to focus on writing on here at least once a week but it seems I am so busy. Not knowing when we move or where I am throwing things out & going through them. I am trying to find time to edit photos. I still have photos from last summer to edit & I took over 300 in London which I swear is the best country I have been to so far. Weather sucked but the people were the nicest I have ever run into. Anyways this is a weight loss blog so back to weight loss....
I am stuck like Chuck on the same number for what seems like FOREVER. I really would like to lose 10-15 pounds more & I think I would be good. I have decided that I will be having surgery to remove the extra skin & my husband & I decided that I need to maintain my weight stateside for a year before I do it. Germany is easier since the fast food choices are limited & not on every corner. Being in the states will be a true test.
Will everything I have learned from Oct. 2009 until now work for me in the states. I pray with everything. I refuse to need to buy a bigger size EVER AGAIN.
I need some help. I eat salads at lunch & well I love salads I need other ideas. I am getting a little tired of the same thing 5 days a week. What are some good lunches to eat at work? My dessert is fruit & soy pudding but I need help with lunch!!
I am leaving you with a photo from London. It was taken at Ripley's Believe it or Not!

Cute picture!!
Recently I started using hummus on my salad in place of dressing. Also, ground turkey or chicken sausages. Corn, black beans and kidney beans too!
Firstly, you have not visited South Africa as they are a lot more friendly than the British. Given a choice I prefer living in Germany and we have had the choice ;). No thanks, have you see those houses :(
I usually eat left over dinner for lunch or gluten free rice cakes with low fat creme cheese and smoked salmon....did have peanut butter but now can't eat peanuts. Almond butter I have tried and don't like.
I can't wait to hear your plans to return, but hoping you will be here when I get back so I can visit and say bye to my special friend!
First of all you look fantastic. You have come a long way since 2009. You've worked hard and it paid off.
I can understand your fear of going back to the States concerning the food. I've been to the States 25 years ago and even back then I was shocked to see how big the packages are in stores there. Even here in Holland, for example, a bag of chips is bigger than years ago. I don't like that at all. If available I buy smaller portions even if I have to pay something more.
Regarding the lunches: no input here because I eat the same boring stuff: a sandwich and a salad. I have to say I'm getting bored by it too. What I sometimes see on other blogs is a wrap filled with chicken for example. Easy to take with you too. Or a frittata or piece of healthy quiche. Have you googled it, I bet you will find ideas there too.
Keep doing what you're doing Sarah, you're doing great and I'm sure soon you will be losing weight again. It could be a plateau.
Oh and I loved London too, one of my favorite cities in the world.
Have never visited London before.
My lunch at work usually are some leftover dinner of a whole wheat sandwich topped with avo, cottage cheese, liver, lentils, tomato, spinach. List goes is endless when it comes to sandwich toppings.
