I need more hours in my day

I have been so busy it is past annoying. Just once this week I would love to come home after work but I have had & will have stuff to do every single day after. Living in Germany where nothing is opened on Sunday drives me nuts. In the states it never mattered when you wanted to get something done they where open. Here on post because Germans have to be employed they close early or whenever. Drives me insane. I pretty much work the same hours as most things on post which means praying I get there before they close.

My eating is all over the place. My job has me beyond stressed being in a situation I feel I should of never been placed in. I need to get a hold of myself and realize that food is not my answer. Food will not make my situation any better and in fact when I am doing eating whatever it is that I chose to eat I know I will be upset with myself for doing it.

I have exciting news that I hope to post soon but I feel like I need to be more prepared then I am when writing the post. I need a game plan first. Something to make me accountable.

I am going to work on my calories and food plan now. I need to get this under control asap.

Shame Sarah, whats happening at work, you never spell it out which leaves me and others to our own imagination and am sure we are very far what the truth.
I found the Sundays being closed difficult at first as well, but now all the food stores are open till 9am at night, so thats a big step for Germany... I do love the way Germany puts family first so on a Sunday not many work as its the one day the family can have together...
Think about the poor people who work in the shops....and unlike other countries, they dont have many staff...have you noticed one waitress serving a whole restaurant as well as there are no casual staff...
I have planned the dates I am wanting to come over...will discuss with Heinz as he needs to set me up before and then let you know...its basically a WED I will leave here and then leave you the following Sunday...
I'm using my food journal you bought me...and loving it...and counting calories via my phone ~ working well....to keep within the calories even with good foods is tough going..

You're right Sarah! Food isn't going to give you any more time in the day, lessen your stress or make your work situation settle. That realization in itself proves you have changed!!!!

I hope you get things sorted out at work soon and it will give you less stress. Hope you still enjoy your job despite the stress.

I'm used to the fact that shops aren't open on Sunday although most are open at least once a month. Some grocery stores are open on Sunday but not where I live. It's a very Christian village and most people go to church on Sunday.
I like the fact that nothing is open on Sunday. Sunday is a rest day for me and I do only things I like to do on that day.
Don't you have a "shopping" night? Here all shops are open one night a week (most of the times Thursday or Friday) till 9 pm. All grocery stores are open every day till at least 8 pm.

I'm looking forward to the news you are going to share with us.

I can read how stressed you are at the moment. I'm sorry to hear that you are struggling with food these days due to stress. I hope your situation gets better soon.
I love the idea that stores are closed on a Sunday - just like the Bible says it should be. But I do understand that in nowadays with work being on every day, it is difficult to get to stores other than on Sundays.
